Phi Kappa Tau provides many academic programs to its members:
This year, over $25,000 will be granted by the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation for scholarships, fellowships, and educational grants. Scholarship recipients are carefully chosen based upon their academic success, commitment to the ideals of Phi Kappa Tau and service to their campus, community and Fraternity. Undergraduate and graduate members are eligible for scholarships and grants. Currently, the Foundation provides the following scholarships for academic work:
Paul A. Elfers Omega Scholarship
Six $2,250 scholarships awarded through the generosity of Paul Elfers, a charter member of Omega Chapter at the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Elfers created this endowed scholarship in 1981 and added to it through his estate. One of the six awards is reserved for an outstanding chapter treasurer. Due April 1.
Foundation Scholarships
Nine $1,000 scholarships are awarded. Applicants must be an initiated member who will be returning to school the next year as an undergraduate or graduate student. These scholarships are made possible by the generosity of a number of men who have endowed the program over the years. Due April 1.
Parents Fund Scholarships
